Moving House?

We can't help you to pack boxes, plaster the walls and position the front door mat. But we can help to take the hassle out of changing your details for your Alinta bill.

First, you need to have registered for Your Account.

Then, simply choose which of the following options best suits your situation:

Moving out of one home and into another
Close the Alinta account for your existing home and open an account for your new home.

Moving Out
Close your existing Alinta account so future gas bills for this property are no longer in your name.

Moving In
Open an Alinta account so you can start using the gas at your new home. If gas is not yet connected at your new address, we'll let you know and help you to arrange a new gas connection.

Hint - To save you time, it may help to have the following details handy:

  • Your new and old addresses, including your postcode
  • The dates you are moving in and/or out
  • The names of any members of your household who you would like listed on your account
  • The name and contact number of your rental agent (if your new home is a rental)
